Opened on August 5th and accessible until September 15th, the Dobbiaco show room involves fashion, arts, photography and installation. Franz Kraler - one of the most beautiful boutiques in Europe - is the mind behind the initiative. The latter is currently taking place in the historical palace of the emperor Franz Joseph in Dobbiaco. The castle is completely renovated and very eco-friendly. In fact, it produces the energy it needs to work and it welcomes visitors and their pets. Inside, it is possible to find all big fashion names, such as Prada, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Carven and Dior.
The broad space of 1000 square metres is adequate for all the desires of the guests. In fact, those who are willing to shop can definitely enjoy the wide offer, so as those who just want to relax a bit can benefit from the ad hoc relax areas. Young visitors who get bored to go shopping with the parents can have fun at the play area and watch a nice movie on the 3D screen.
Interestingly, visitors can also arrive riding their horses. In this case too, the structure is able to provide an excellent reception, with special places to let the animal rest.
The castle is the perfect stage for fashion show, expositions and show cooking, providing a taste of local delicatessen. Last but not least, the installation is worth of being mentioned for its interesting characters from the Alacre Duna. This artistic movement was founded in England and soon expanded in Italy, especially in the North. These artists drew their inspiration from Oscar Wilde, they do not belong to any specific trend and are devoted to "art for art's sake". They are also great supporters of anonymity of works of art, believing that "any object can become a work of art".
