Where to canoeing in Italy

It may sound at not very common to think about Italy as a place where to do canoeing. However, visitors of all agesof all ages are welcome to enjoy a slow and thrilling journey made of tranquillity, amazing sceneries, clear waters and stunning uncontaminated landscapes.

Where? In Agro Pontino, not far from Rome, on the Cavata river, where, since 2011, the local Amateurs Sport Association Fiume Cavata is organising daily excursions for both groups and individuals, that sail on this interesting waterway on board of canoes, Canadian canoes with 8 seats, and other types of boats that don't necessitate the use of engines.
