SOLO, the Italian virtual POS

A team of Italians just developer a simple, fast, competitive and revolutionary payment solution

SOLO is an innovative startup that has just launched a virtual POS service to receive payments with credit and debit cards from PC, smartphone or tablet.

Born within the venture incubator Digital Magics LAB, SOLO, the acronym of social local shopping, has successfully developed a simple, fast, and competitive payment solution for all those merchants and business owners who are not equipped with appropriate technological infrastructure. SOLO's platform has been developed in Html5, it does not require any additional hardware to be connected, no app to be downloaded and no mandatory registration for the user who has to make the payment. Merchants also have no activation and management cost, but they pay a fee for each transaction.

On SOLO's website freelancers, small and medium enterprises, tour operators, call centers, hotels, bed & breakfasts can create a customisable public page for their businesses, and ask their costumers to pay for their services clicking on a link that can be sent by e-mail, SMS, message on social networks, QR code or NFC tag. This is a revolution for online payments, and it is made in Italy.
